This cannot be confirmed, only speculated; the glitch involves interacting with Xur and then changing the date on your Playstation to a Friday/Saturday that is in the past to determine what objects he would have sold (though you cannot purchase them using this trick). Guardians on reddit are speculating that Xur operates using a table of loot that is referenced based on the current week he appears.
Basically, patterns identified from past-data tests let us speculate what Xur will offer for the current week. Here is the much requested source on the topic. Myself, I'm rather interested to see if this prediction rings true. |
