Weekend Breakdown November 17-20, 2017
XUR
That time of the week is here again with a weekly visit from our shadowy reclusive friend Xur. Xur this week is located just northeast of the Rig Landing Zone on Titan. To find him easily you can use the handy Xur icon on your world map and set a way point to his exact location. Each week Xur sells Exotic items consisting of a Exotic weapon and an Exotic armor for each class of Guardian, having something for everyone for purchase with Legendary Shards. Legendary Shards can be obtained by either just playing the game or by breaking down Legendary items including Mods. Each item Xur sells comes at a base level of 270 with a Legendary Mod attached to it already ( real base level is 265 with a +5 legendary Mod making it 270). This week's items Xur brought are as follows :
Hard Light - auto rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
Lucky Raspberry - Hunter chest: 23 Legendary Shards
Synthoceps - Titan gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards
Karnstein Armlets - Warlock gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards

Trials of the Nine
Trials has returned this week on the map Altar of Flame located in the Caloris Basin on Mercury. The game mode this week is Survival, in the Survival game mode only a certain number of lives ( 6 shared lives for each team) the team can use from a shared pool, before permanent death. Teamwork will be essential in order to survive and dominate over enemy teams and ascend the Third Spire and claim your rewards. To gain passage to the Spire a player must win one round in a Trails of the Nine match to gain access to begin claiming rewards from winning matches or to turn in Tokens earned for rewards. In the center of the map is a heavy ammo drop which could prove to be a rather treacherous area due to snipers. It is a huge point of contention and where most teams will engage fighting over which team will get the power ammo. Use flanking routes to gain advantage over the other team while holding there focus up front in the center of the map and avoid long lanes where Scout Rifles and medium to long range weapons will dominate. This week has been exciting to say the least, with Faction Rally coming to a close and the first Livestream on the upcoming DLC Curse of Osiris happening this past Wednesday, this week has been busy. First off Tuesday morning brought a surprise to some members of the community, especially those who had assumed that Dead Orbit would continue to dominate the Faction Rallies. Reward package totals for each faction have now been tallied across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The result: New Monarchy has claimed victory. The prize this Faction Rally is the New Monarchy sword which i may add looks sweet, and can be yours for 1,000 Glimmer if you pledged to the winning Faction or 50,000 Glimmer to all other Guardians that weren't pledged to the winning Faction. This power weapon can be picked up from the Faction NPC in the Tower and you have til Reset Tuesday to pick one up.
IRON BANNER RETURNS!!!!
Begins: November 21, 1 AM PST Ends: November 28, 1 AM PST
The game is Clash.
While this will be the second round for console players, PC Guardians are invited to their first Iron Banner event. To compete, you must meet the following qualifications:
Complete the Destiny 2 campaign – the only way to reach the Tower Visit Lord Saladin in the Tower to begin the Iron Banner Quest Launch into the Iron Banner playlist
Iron Banner rewards may be earned through reputation tokens turned in to Lord Saladin. Challenges will be offered each day for additional token rewards, along with Milestones to track progress.
This Iron Banner is your last chance to earn the Season 1 Iron Banner Emblem, Shades of Radegast, granted when completing the Seasonal Milestone
