With exactly two weeks away, Destiny 2 will unveil it's first DLC with Curse of Osiris. Bungie, since announcing the title, they have begun using their Twitch Channel to provide players with an inside look on what to expect from the first expansion.

Today's recent stream, ormation on Twitch.

New Public Event (15:42)

enter image description here

The event is the first of potentially many public events on the planet Mercury. This one in particular is called Vex Crossroads. In it you are battling your way to various sections locating keys to unlock (also known as arc charges) new areas. Each time you unlock an area you travel, via a Vex Cannon, to the next location. This comes to a section in which you battle with a Gate Lord. Players are pitted against it using DPS, and some in-game mechanics, to defeat the Gate Lord and it's Gatekeepers for some good loot.

Crafting Weapons (27:45)

Inside the new and improved Lighthouse, Bungie has created quest lines for specific weapons. When speaking with Brother Vance, you are offered to acquire three, out of eleven, Prophecy Tablets. The tablets are each unique offering different requirements and providing different weapons. Meeting the requires can be obtained with specific activities like Crucible, Strikes, etc. Once all have been met, they can go and empower the tablet and turn it into the Forge to craft a weapon. It remains to be seen if it is only eleven specific weapons or it changes, but players will now be back into grinding for specific loot like in Destiny 1 looking for the god roll Eyasluna; something players have asked for.

Infinite Forest (39:32)

One of the newest features is the ever-changing Infinite Forest and it's Adventures. The space is a Vex Reality Simulation Machine allowing players to encounter various realities and timelines. This can, but not exclude, scenarios with the Fallen, Hive, Taken, and Cabal. Each adventure can play out differently. With The Up and Up it features platform jumping and the Hive. Currently we are not able to know how many scenarios are there, but, they will be providing milestones which means good loot. This, along with the two new strikes, will help to keep players playing after story has been completed.

Next week we will be learning more about The Crucible and some of the interesting gear you will be obtaining so please turn in to Bungie's stream. So far this first DLC for Destiny 2 looks quite promising. Of course players will be ready to delve into the game so we expect many more secrets to be revealed once the DLC hits. Stay tuned!
