Happy reset day, Guardians! Update 1.2.1 is now live with several armor and weapon adjustments as well as various bug fixes. The highlights are:

Exotic Armor Changes

HUNTER
Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves
While you are critically wounded, swapping to a Sidearm increases its damage (2x in PvE, 1.33x in PvP).

The Dragon’s Shadow
Dodge reloads all weapons simultaneously.
Dodging now also grants +5 mobility for the duration of Wraithmetal Mail, in addition to its previous benefits. Added a UI indicator for the Wraithmetal Mail buff.

TITAN
Lion Rampant
Hipfiring no longer interrupts Lift. Increased hipfire accuracy while airborne.

Synthoceps
Now grants a flat melee damage bonus for 8 seconds when you are surrounded by three or more enemies (3x in PvE, 2x in PvP).
This buff also increases Super damage while active (+50%).

WARLOCK
Lunafaction Boots
Now allows your Rift to continuously reload weapons while you or allies stand in it.
Empowering Rift grants a boost to weapon range and aim assist.

Sunbracers
Solar melee kills now grant unlimited Solar grenade energy for a short duration.

Weapons Changes

LEGENDARY
Shining Sphere - Replaced Pulse Monitor perk with Quickdraw.

EXOTIC
Skyburner’s Oath - Fixed an issue that caused this weapon’s sound effects to play too quietly while you are aiming down sights.

SUROS Regime - Fixed an issue where players could not reload while ADS.

PERKS
Trench Barrel - Fixed a bug that allowed this perk to activate after making melee attacks on friendly targets.

EXOTIC MASTERWORKS
MIDA Multi-Tool - The Masterwork catalyst can now be obtained by the most determined competitors in the Crucible.

A couple of key changes to Heroic Strikes: - Heroic strikes will now award Escalation Protocol Key Fragments. - Heroic strikes now have a chance (~25%) to award powerful engrams of up to 360 Power.

Crucible Labs and Faction Rallies will be available at a later date.

Here’s your reset activities for the week of May 29th – June 5th.

Flashpoint: Titan

Travel to Titan to complete Public Events to complete your Flashpoint milestone. Remember to turn your Public Events into Heroic Public Events for a chance at better loot. Once the Flashpoint milestone is complete look for the world boss at the end of the next Heroic Public Event following milestone completion.

Cayde-6 Treasure Maps: Titan

Be sure to visit the Cayde-6 and purchase the 5 treasure maps (4600 glimmer each) leading to Cayde’s special loot chests before taking off to Titan to complete your Flashpoint milestone.

Call to Arms: Crucible

Win glory by participating in Crucible matches. It typically takes between 5-7 matches to complete the milestone depending on if you are solo queuing or playing with clan mates. Playing crucible matches will earn you progress towards your Call to Arms milestone and your Clan XP milestone at the same time.

NightFall: Tree of Probabilities (Mercury)

Contain a rampant army of Red Legion within the Infinite Forest

Nightfall Challenges:

  • Unbroken – Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths
  • Laser Challenge – Take 5 or fewer hits from the lasers in Atlas Grove

Raid: Leviathan

Board the Leviathan orbiting Nessus to defeat Calus, the Cabal Emperor. The first encounter this week is The Pleasure Gardens and the Challenge Mode is The Throne Room.

While we know the first and fourth encounters, the middle two are yet to be confirmed as the Bungie API is still down at this time. I'll edit once confirmed.

  • The Proving – Complete every trial Calus has set before you
  • The Labyrinth – Loot 3 of Calus’s gifts in the underbelly of the Leviathan
  • The Throne - All 4 plates must be activated at the same time before dealing damage to Calus for each phase

Remember all progress on the Leviathan raid is reset as well as raid keys. Clan XP goals are also reset as each player can earn a cap of 5000 XP per character for a powerful engram while total clan XP is capped at 100,000.
