A raft of new details about the upcoming Season of Opulence has been released by Bungie this week, and among them is news that three super-powered new weapons will be joining the Destiny 2 artillery roster on June 4.

The player-vs-player Pinnacle weapon to be released alongside the opulent new content is Revoker, a legendary sniper rifle. The Revoker benefits those that may not be the perfect shot, returning any missed shots to the chamber after a short timer has depleted. It's likely this sniper rifle will be available once Guardians reach 'Fabled' in the competitive Crucible playlist.

The second Pinnacle weapon for the season, namely the Vanguard release, is the Wendigo GL3, a legendary heavy grenade launcher that increases its blast radius and damage with every Orb of Light you collect. The quest Guardians must complete to collect this brand new arsenal of firepower has yet to be announced, with the Vanguard Pinnacle weapon's must-do list changing with each Bungie season release.

Finally, Guardians will be able to get their hands on a legendary new bow in the upcoming season - Hush. The Gambit Pinnacle release gives Guardians an increased draw speed if players can hit precision shots without aiming down sights. There is also no information on how to acquire the sweet green-trimmed bow.

There will be more information released about the Season of Opulence as the new content draws closer, but until then Guardians grinding out the last of their Drifter-content may want to get a little wriggle on - Opulence drops in less than a week, on June 4.

All Pinnacle weapons are free for Destiny 2 players, and will be available from the drop-date of Bungie's latest season-pass content.
