How to complete Saint-14’s new quests and unlock the Central Obelisk

Saint-14 has been saved by the Guardians from his death at the hands of the Vex and has returned to The Tower to continue the fight against the enemies of mankind.

The Legendary Titan can be found in the main section of the Hangar in the Tower where the makeshift soccer field is. After a few lines of dialogue, three new quests will appear in Saint’s inventory: ‘Community Service’, ‘Early Colonies’ and ‘Some Assembly Required’. All three of these are fairly simple quests to complete but all give varying rewards.

The first quest ‘Community Service’ requires the player to complete 8 Vanguard or Crucible bounties. These bounties can be mixed and matched in any combination, just need to complete 8 in total. Once this is done, turn the bounties in and return to Saint. Here, Saint will ask you to place his book near his ship, there will be a small glowing section underneath the ship where the book can be placed. Return to Saint to be given access to his daily bounties which reward 50 Polarized Fractaline each, making leveling up the Obelisks a breeze.

The second quest ‘Early Colonies’ is another simple quest but this time with a few more steps. The first step requires 100 kills on Titan. Simply head to Titan and jump into a Lost Sector or Public Event to complete this the fastest. Next, travel to Nessus to speak to Failsake who will give you the next quest step.

This step requires completion of 2 Public Events, 1 Patrol and kill 100 enemies on Nessus. Be sure to constantly check your map to see when Public Events will be starting and complete the Patrol while waiting for the event to start. The 100 kills should passively complete while advancing the first two objectives.

The final main step is to repeat the above step from Nessus, but this time on the EDZ. Follow the same tips listed above to advance this step the fastest. Return to Saint once this is done to place the Tribute to the Colonies. This will reward the player with a Triumph and some more Polarized Fractaline.

The final quest, ‘Some Assembly Required’, is the main one that matters here as once completed it gives access to a Centralized Obelisk in the Tower that connects all 4 other Obelisks together. This means the player can purchase bounties, obelisk upgrades, mods, and Timelost weapons from any of the Obelisks but from a single location.

Thankfully, this quest is not very time consuming with it only requiring 10 kills each of ‘Powerful’ Cabal, Vex and Fallen enemies. This ‘powerful’ adjective in this case just means ‘Boss’, but thankfully with the introduction of Shadowkeep there are Nightmare enemies scattered throughout many Lost Sectors who are counted as Bosses. For the Cabal step, travel to The Conflux Lost Sector in The Cistern on Nessus. At the end of the Lost Sector will be 4 Nightmare War Beasts and a Cabal that can be killed for 2 Components each.

For the Vex step, travel to Artifact’s Edge on Nessus and head down into the Orrery Lost Sector. There will be 4 Nightmare Harpies near the Lost Sector Boss that can be killed for Components.

For the final Fallen step, head to Trostland in the EDZ and enter the Widow’s Walk Lost Sector. This time there will be 4 Nightmare Shanks at the end of the Lost Sector that can be killed for Components like the Cabal War Beasts.

Once all 3 objectives have been completed, return to Saint-14 at the Tower to repair the Obelisk. Saint will then ask you to place the Obelisk in the Tower Courtyard where it will now be able to be accessed.
