Bungie reveals donation prizes for inaugural Destiny 2 charity event 'Game2Give'

Bungie has announced they would be holding their inaugural charity event known as ‘Game2Give’ from this Thursday, October 24, until November 10. This charity event is a chance for those generous Guardians amongst us in the Destiny 2 community to give to those less fortunate and to help sick kids across the US.

Community members are encouraged to sign up to host their own Destiny fundraising streams between the event dates. 100% of all donations made during the community streams will be given directly to Bungie’s own ‘Ipads for Kids’ and the ‘Children’s Miracle Network’.

‘Ipads for Kids’ is a newly created charity by Bungie that aims to “reduce distress and suffering in children by providing patients with fully customized, age-appropriate entertainment that allows for distraction, therapeutic play, and a sense of normalcy that is vital to creating a positive experience in an otherwise scary and stressful situation.”

Starting on October 29 at 12pm PDT, Bungie will also be hosting their own 24-hour charity stream with some of the biggest names within the Destiny community, with it culminating in a developer live-stream.

As an added incentive, Bungie will be giving away prizes to both individual donors and community members holding their own donation stream. Here are the prizes for individual donations:

• A $10 donation will earn you the new Mist Blossoms Emblem:

• A $50 donation will earn both the Mist Blossoms Emblem and the new Charity Ghost, the Gilded Shell Exotic Ghost:

• A $100 donation will grant you both the above rewards as well as a chance to win one of the following items from the Bungie Prize Pool:

For the donation stream prizes, certain thresholds for total donations during the stream period need to be met to be eligible for the prizes. Prize thresholds also give all the prizes present in the previous thresholds. Here are the different thresholds:

$500 USD Raised:

• Limited-Edition Bungie Foundation "Gilded Shell" Exotic Ghost
• New Destiny 2 "Mist Blossoms" Emblem
• 10% discount to Bungie Store (limited to first 100 people who reach milestone)

$1000 USD Raised:

• Receive Physical Vinyl "Gilded Shell" Exotic Ghost
• Entered to win a Bungie Studio tour (travel accommodations not included)

$2500 USD Raised:

• Win a Game2Give Mousepad
• Entered to win your choice of Palladium Boots

$5000 USD Raised:

• Exclusive limited-edition Game2Give Meta Threads jersey
• Entered to win airfare and hotel for a trip and tour of Bungie Studios and meet the team

Top 50 Overall Fundraisers:
