Destiny 2 Season 14 Will Feature Ada-1 Return, Banshee-44 Getting A New Role

Ada-1 was one of my favorite NPCs added to Destiny 2 and she served quite a critical role with the addition of the Black Armory. Before she departed from the Tower, Ada-1 was a vendor that gave you bounties for Forge activities and at the time was your beacon to begin the quest to obtain Le Monarque, Jötunn, and Izanagi’s Burden.

But when the Forges were claimed by the Destiny Content Vault, so was Ada-1. Now her location is barred off in the Tower with no explanation in-game besides the lore from Season of Arrivals’ Hollow Words that states she is working currently with Future War Cult representative Lakshmi-2.

However, in this week’s TWAB it was revealed that we will be seeing Ada-1 again with the release of Season 14.

Most importantly Ada-1 will be the primary vendor associated with the transmog system Bungie refers to as Armor Synthesis. Ada-1 will also be responsible for focus items and upgrades such as Upgrade Modules, Enhancement Prisms, and Ascendant Shards.

At each daily reset, Ada-1 will also sell one random piece of armor mod from the Armor slot and one randomly chosen Combat Style mod such as Charged with Light or Warmind Cell mods. Bungie hopes this will help players collect the mods they might have missed from previous seasons.

On Tuesdays, Ada-1’s inventory will also be refreshed to feature an armor set randomly chosen from the World Loot Pool with stats that change on a weekly frequency.

With Ada-1 taking all of these tasks from Banshee-44, he is now going to be doing more “gunsmith” like duties in the Tower by actually selling guns.

Banshee-44 will have a weekly inventory of six weapons that will refresh every Tuesday reset. These weapons will come directly from the World Loot Pool and will feature two of each category (Kinetic, Energy, and Power). The perks on these weapons will be chosen randomly at the start of the week.

Alongside these weapons, Banshee-44 is set to continue selling Weapon Mods.
