Destiny 2 Update 7.1.5 Has Arrived

The Destiny 2 Update 7.1.5 is finally here and it's bringing a ton of exciting changes and fixes that are sure to enhance the gaming experience for Guardians everywhere. In the Crucible, players can expect some map modifications that promise to make Trials of Osiris Dominion even more engaging. Spawn points on Burnout have been adjusted to ensure a fair and thrilling experience for all players. Additionally, issues with players getting outside the playable area on maps like Radiant Cliffs and Altar of Flame have been resolved, making Crucible matches even more action-packed.

In the Freeroam activity, players can rejoice as the long-standing issue with Terminal Overload progress halting at Stage 3 has been fixed. Now, Guardians can progress seamlessly through the stages and enjoy a smoother gameplay experience in Neomuna.

Guardian Ranks icon decorations for higher ranks were missing but are now back in place, adding a sense of accomplishment for high-ranking players. Season Pass rank tracking past 100 has been fixed as well, eliminating any confusion for players on their journey. Additionally, a visual bug that prevented the reward for rank 71 on the Season Pass from unlocking has been squashed, with the actual boost being correctly applied when unlocked.

The Eververse featured carousel sound effect bug has also been addressed, ensuring that players can preview items in peace without being distracted by unintended sounds.

When it comes to gameplay and investment, armor issues have been ironed out for a more balanced experience. Dexterity mods now properly provide the intended benefits to weapon ready speed, making weapon handling more consistent for Guardians. The Stronghold Exotic gauntlets have also been reworked to extend restoration based on the number of enemy attacks blocked, adding a strategic edge to Sword gameplay.

Weapons enthusiasts will find several notable changes in this update. Stasis weapons with splash damage now deal the intended damage to Stasis crystals, rectifying the previous discrepancy. Moreover, Season of the Deep's reprised Reckoning weapons no longer display Taken visual effects on their ornaments. These improvements promise a more immersive weapon experience for players.

Pulse Rifles have seen an adjustment to auto aim angle, while Lightweight Bows' final accuracy has been boosted, providing a more precise and rewarding feel to their use. Submachine Guns with Precision are now more dynamic, thanks to an improved reticle for Shayura's Wrath when aiming down sights. Lightweight Shotguns have also received some love, with a 15% reduction in the spread angle of outer horizontal pellets.

Exotic weapons like Graviton Lance and No Time To Explain have undergone significant changes. Graviton Lance's PvE damage has been increased by an impressive 67%, while the extra aim assist provided by the catalyst has been removed. As for No Time To Explain, its range stat has been slightly reduced to bring better balance to the game.

In terms of abilities, Stasis has seen some adjustments. Whisper of Rime's overshield has been reduced, while Whisper of Chains now offers less damage reduction in PvP. These changes aim to create a more balanced and competitive atmosphere in Stasis-based gameplay. Bounties and pursuits have been tweaked to work correctly, and combatants have been given the attention they deserve, with fixes to Tormentor's abilities and visual effects.
