Adept

• Denial - Taken Vandals summon their shields significantly more often

Hero

• Adept Modifiers
• Champions: Unstoppable - This mode contains Unstoppable Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable mod.
• Champions: Overload - This mode contains Overload Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Overload mod.
• Champions: Taken - This mode contains both Unstoppable and Overload Champions, which cannot be stopped without an Unstoppable or Overload mod, respectively.
• Hero Modifiers  - Extra Shields
• Grask’s Bile - Incoming environmental damage increased. Knockback damage and distance increased.

Legend

• Equipment Locked  -  You will be unable to change your equipment  once the activity starts

• Attrition - Regeneration is greatly impaired. Defeating enemies may create Wells of Light.

Grandmaster

• Adept, Hero, Legend and Master Modifiers
• Epitaph - Taken combatants generate blight geysers when defeated.
• Join in Progress Disabled - Once the Nightfall has begun, players will not be able to join the session.
• Contest - Damage calculation for a player is only calculated to the level of the activity, being a higher Power level will not lower the difficulty.
• Chaff - Radar is disabled.
• Extinguish - If your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone, everyone is returned to Orbit.
• Limited Revives - Limited Fireteam revives. Gain extra revives by defeating enemy Champions

Rewards: Powerful (Tier 1) reward - Get 5 points by completing runs. Higher difficulties grant more points; Pinnacle reward - Get a score of 100k.

Weekly Crucible Playlists

Supremacy

• 6v6
• Defeat enemies and secure the Crests they drop to gain points.
• Deny the enemy their points by recovering teammates' crests.
• First team to 50 Crests collected, or the team with the most collected once the timer reaches 0, wins the match.
  

Lockdown

• 4v4.
• Best of 5 Round format.
• Score limit of 10 kills per round.
• Revives enabled.
• Reviving a teammate before they auto-respawn will take the point back from the enemy that was scored.
• If the match is tied 2-2 rounds, a special 5th round will start where each player only has 1 life. Knock out the enemy players to win the match.

Dreaming City Curse

Lesser - The Dreaming City is currently in stage 1 of its ongoing curse.

Raid Challenges

Garden of Salvation

A Link to the Chain - During the Consecrated Mind encounter, all players must refresh their Enlightened buff at approximately the same time. However, the team may be split up at different tethers.

Scourge of the Past

All for One, One for All (Vault) - Each Guardian must grab and deposit each Phase Radiance buff once and the boss must be killed in 3 damage phases.

Last Wish

Keep Out (Vault) - Knights must be killed in the rooms they spawn in.

Leviathan

The Throne - Burn all 4 plates at the same time for every damage phase. Do not fire before all plates are activated.

Escalation Protocol: Kathok, Roar of Xol

Kathok is a large Hive Knight that is protected by many Shriekers, Thrall, Acolytes and sword-carrying Severing Knights. Kathok is protected by an immunity shield that can only be destroyed with the Swords dropped from the Severing Knights. Once the shield is down, bombard Kathok with damage.
