How I Reached 1213 Power In One Sitting

If you are looking to maximize your Power Level ahead of the next Raid Race, you are not alone. Aside from the Story and Stasis, the only other thing on my mind yesterday was "how can I get the most Power today?"

After playing for roughly twelve hours straight, I was happy to walk away from my first day in Beyond Light with an over 1213 Power Level.  So how did I do it?

The Ghost Shell

You have probably heard this 100 times, but the first thing you want to do when start your quest for power is to Masterwork your Ghost and add the ______ mod. This will add an additional 10% XP to everything you do. Note that you can find higher Mods in the wild, but upon logging in the best you will have is the 10% buff.

The Artifact

Alright this was pretty cool and took me by complete surprise when it was announced. I thought for sure this Season's artifact would be the Splinter of Darkness, but instead its the Fang of Xivu Arath, Literally a fang from one of Oryx's sisters.

To grab the artifact head down the new elevator to Zavala's Office, you'll notice some changes one of which being the huge screen. Interact with it and you'll get some interesting dialogue from Osiris as well as your new Artifact.

Make sure you do this before you start down any quest, leveling this up is crucial to unlocking helpful Mods as the season progresses.

The Loopholes

It wouldn't be Destiny if there wasn't a quick farm to crank up your Power on the first day. Already players have found many different avenues to "cheese" their power level to the soft cap, the most efficient one I found was on the EDZ.

Head here to the Widows Walk Lost Sector. Equip your favorite weapon and speedrun past the enemies and directly to the boss. Kill him, grab the purple engram, and fast travel back to the waypoint.

Do this for about 30-45 minutes and you will quickly hit the soft cap of 1200 before you even begin the campaign of Beyond Light. Starting the story at 1200 will ensure any Prime, Powerful or Exotic that drops for you will be much higher than previously expected.

I only recommend this strategy for those who are trying to hit the highest possible Power Level ahead of the Novemeber 21st World's First Race. For those looking to have a difficult yet enjoyable campaign experience, maybe just grab your artifact and jump into Europa like a Titan, head first.
