Iron Banner is now in full swing for Season of the Splicer and with it comes four new weapons. If you have yet to jump in, I highly recommend joining soon as these weapons are going to be hot this season.
Finite Impactor is the first of two reissued weapons for Iron Banner this season. It is a 140 RPM Hand Cannon that packs a strong punch. With the slight nerf to 120’s you may find this to be a useful Hand Cannon against enemies in the Crucible especially with it rolling new perks Tunnel Vision or Iron Gaze. For PvE this Hand Cannon can be especially useful with the Overload Mod this season and with a perk roll such as One For All.
Occuleded Finality is my personal favorite of the new weapons to come this season. It is an Aggressive Frame sniper with a 58 zoom. Usually Snipers of this caliber are regarded for users that play on controller but I find even on Mouse + Keyboard this Sniper just feels great. With the recent buff to No Distractions this sniper is an easy grab though I do prefer my roll of Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot.
BUG UPDATE
At the time of writing this the next two weapons are only available from the Iron Banner Season Quest. Do not dismantle these weapons or attempt to turn in Tokens to reroll them until Bungie fixes this bug.
Riiswalker is the new Eliksni forged Shotgun to make its way into the Banner. It features a lightweight frame and can roll with perks such as Vorpal and Quickdraw. Due to the current Iron Banner bug, I have not personally gotten a roll of this weapon with perks I like so I can not speak to how it performs but I will say it does look good and fits in well with this season.
Archon’s Thunder is the last of this season’s new Iron Banner weapons and is also forged from a House Light weaponsmith. I like that this Machine Gun can roll with perks such as Mulligan and Killing Wind but I am personally excited to try out a roll with Elemental Capacitor featuring the new Stasis buff that brings recoil control and increased movement speed.
Aside from these new weapons Iron Banner is also dropping a plethora of returning weapons as well as some High Stat Armor pieces. I have personally gotten two 67 stat rolled armor drops that I plan on using for quite a while.
Iron Banner will continue until weekly reset May 25th at 10am PT.
