Interview
Tell us about yourself, who are you and what do you do?
My name is Alec, I'm a full-time content creator on Twitch.
I love to help others both in-game and in life, there's nothing in the world that makes me happier. I mainly do end game Destiny PVE content, but who doesn't enjoy clicking heads and memeing around with some PVP?
How and why did you get into content creation?
9 months ago, I first clicked Go Live and it was because a friend of mine said that I'm always helping people do raids anyways. I'm always teaching, why not try to make something out of it?
Here we are with far more than I could have ever expected or asked for when it comes to community, in such a little time.
Tell us about your community
My community is wild, man. They are the trolliest, kick-ass, and supportive people on this planet. In six charity streams, we've raised $10,000 towards various causes. They're exactly the type of people that I'm trying to bring together, those that want to help others and see others succeed.
What do you enjoy most about Destiny?
The visuals, how deep the lore goes, how many friends I've made from it... I could go on for quite some time on this subject. Bungie and Destiny have made my life a greater place.
What is your favorite PvP map in Destiny 2?
Dead Cliffs, prior to the old maps coming back, but I'm a sucker for Widow's Court.
What advice would you give someone looking to get into content creation?
To just do it. If you have any doubts in yourself whatsoever, and this comes to anything in life, you will fail. You need to drop fears and you need to just do it, I promise you, you will not regret chasing out any dream you ever have.
If there was one thing you could tell your former, aspiring-creator self, what would it be?
Start it far sooner, you idiot. You're good at it and with more time you will be great. Click the damn button.
In your opinion, what does it take to make a team successful?
A solid backbone and foundation, everyone has to be genuine and want the team to succeed as a whole.
Going forward, what do you want to accomplish with your team?
I would love to see the team grow into top tier creators from all different games represented by the team. I would like to see us start to throw charity events and I would love to be a major part within every single one of them!
Where can we find you on social media?
Twitter is my big one, I love to meme, but I'm quite lewd - Instagram, and I swear one of these days I'll start making the TikTok ideas I have.
