Curse of Osiris DLC expansion

Eye's up Guardians! Debuting this morning at Sony's Paris Games Week, the first DLC expansion Curse of Osiris teaser trailer was shown. This has since swept through the community like SIVA reaching every corner taking everyone by surprise. Opening up with our Guardian meeting with Ikora Rey, as she narrates the trailer for the mission we are about to embark on. Explaining an ancient gate has opened, and an army of Vex of future and past amasses to reshape existence to its own image. We are to seek out Osiris on Mercury and try to stop the Vex from completing what they have set out to do. Showcasing the infamous Osiris himself in a fire fight against Vex enemies doing what Guardians do best. The trailer showed some amazing new areas and some breathtaking shots of floating pillars with our Guardian walking to the edge of one to look out. New weapons and armor sets were shown in the trailer, showing that we have alot to look forward to in the not so distant future.
DLC Content
Dropped shortly after trailer released our Bungie Community manager Deej, released a image highlighting some of the content coming in the Curse of Osiris DLC. As our Guardians journey continues we have to look forward to all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, on Mercury. New areas to explore on Mercury and the mysterious Infinite Forest, with a new social space on the planet called the Lighthouse. New themed weapons, armor, and gear with new cooperative activities and new competitive multiplayer arenas. New strikes and a world quest to complete, also mentioned was new raid content which more information has yet to be released. Not all is known yet of all the content coming with the first DLC expansion of Destiny 2, but everything so far has the community on the edge of their seats.
The official release date for the first DLC was announced to be releasing on December 5, 2017. Shortly after the Curse of Osiris DLC releases, Season 2 of Destiny 2 will be begin with changes announced a few weeks ago at TwitchCon. Season 2 will bring The Dawning seasonal event back, and Iron Banner with new armor and weapons along with some changes allowing Guardians to purchase event specific gear straight from Saladin himself. Bungie in recent weeks has been listening to the community and is showing why other studios can't hold a candle to them when it comes to community involvement. Just as Destiny 1 grew over time, Destiny 2 is taking shape to soon carry the torch to new heights with every new Season and DLC to come.
