Community Artist Spotlight

enter image description here Our community has many talented and skilled Guardians in it, some of those Guardians are artists. Each week we will showcase some works of art created by one of our very talented artists in the Destiny community. This week, our spotlight goes out to a Guardian that has been playing Destiny since Vanilla before all the DLC content came out back in year one. EmilyMeganX absolutely fell in love with Destiny as we all have, adoring the weapon designs, the gear and the environments for how beautiful and breathtaking they were. EmilyMeganX went on to say " The whole game was just a spectral. It was just pure inspiration to me". enter image description here EmilyMeganX about two years ago after leaving her career in photography started to take drawing more seriously. Being more of a traditional artist with her talent for creating incredible free-hand art pieces and also being able to capture amazing galaxy scenes in her work is astonishing as well as beautiful. Her preferred medium to work with is Prisma-color Premier soft core pencils. "They are an absolute dream to work with, and i feel they give me the exact bold, crisp and detailed aesthetics i'm after. They blend so beautifully". Creating some of her Destiny fan art with colored pencils and a white sakura gelly gel pen for highlights, shows her gift for detail and astounding ability for bringing her art to life and sharing it with all of us in the community. Gaining inspiration from other artists in the community like Brian Moncus, Ian Pesty, Marksquare, and Plain Ben to name a few, she will continue to grow in the community and with her art. EmilyMeganX as she forges ahead to create beautiful Destiny fan art and other pieces outside the Destiny universe, gaining attention from countless others as they instantly fall in love with her art as we all have in the Destiny community already. enter image description here As a member of the DCA ( Destiny Community Artists) EmilyMeganX is also inspired by the amazing art created by all the digital artists in the community. As EmilyMeganX continues on her journey trying to find her style and what works for her, dabbling in digital art in the future has her interest, with hopes to one day achieve what other digital artists in the community have down to a fine art. With her talents for capturing detail and beauty in her art, we all know after a short time working with digital art she will be creating even more amazing pieces that will no doubt capture the eyes of everyone inside and out of the community. EmilyMeganX not only is a talented artist but is a absolute joy to speak with and we could not have a nicer more welcoming Guardian in our community with us. With all the brilliant artists in the community i asked who she would like to collaborate with in the future to create some new pieces, she replied " It would be hard to choose!, But since i work purely traditional for Destiny fan art, i would have to say i'd like to do a collab with either KobOneArt, Boompus III, or Jennwhale!. They all have such recognizable styles i just love!." She truly has a bright future ahead of her no matter where she goes or does in the future. In the meantime we all are honored and love having EmilyMeganX in our community. With all the positivity she puts out into the community each day, and the cheerful conversations. What she can do with creating art is just the beginning, as impressive as it is now she will only get more amazing as she continues to try new things and create new art for us all to enjoy. enter image description here
