Rebuken is a Destiny Streamer for Tracker Pro; In our latest entry of Tracker Pro Interviews, we dive into who Reb is and what separates them from the rest. We hope that you will find the same interest in our Pros as we have and consider checking out their content!
Tell us about yourself, who are you and what do you do?
My name is Rebuken but everyone calls me Reb for short. I’m everyone’s favorite boomer in Destiny and a Father-figure to some of these young guys.
I’m a Streamer, Gamer, Husband, and a Music Artist. My music name is "JayVaughn" - found on multiple platforms.
How and why did you get into content creation?
I got into content creation, initially, to make money for my studio equipment and whatnot. Eventually, I turned into a service steamer, made a lot of friends, and met some of the best PvP players in the game whom I'm good friends with today. My friends list is pretty stacked with the OGs.
Tell us about your community
I’ll be honest, my community spends more time roasting me than paying attention to making clips for me to put on Twitter!
It’s pretty chill, mostly. I watch a lot of YouTube funny videos or dance videos with 'em to keep 'em entertained in between matches.
What do you enjoy most about Destiny?
I enjoy when the game registers properly. It really makes the experience very enjoyable when the skill I put into the game doesn’t get ruined by a failed mechanic.
What is your favorite PvP map in Destiny 2?
Endless Vale is the best map. It has a beautiful lane in the middle and simple map control points; But also, it's not overbearing to be unable to get out of spawn traps, unless they intentionally pick you off individually and it trickles.
What advice would you give someone looking to get into content creation?
My advice is to interact with your chat at all times. Doesn’t have to be corny, cliche, or whatever.
Be you. Be chill. Be intentional.
If there was one thing you could tell your former, aspiring-creator self, what would it be?
Don’t do a 28 hour stream on energy drinks... You almost died that night.
In your opinion, what does it take to make a team successful?
It takes communication, integrity, meekness, and motivation.
Going forward, what do you want to accomplish with your team?
I want to create a dope social space with my community. I’ve always considered myself the plug; I’m very giving, humble, etc. I want to connect people.
If I could be Sora from Kingdom Hearts, that’s me. I want people to come into chat and say "wassup" with each other. Have you ever seen ten people go up to one person that was their friend and say "hello," but all ten didn’t even say anything to each other? No, that’s weird.
Where can we find you on social media?
We'd like to thank Rebuken for taking the time to speak with us. From everybody at Tracker Pro, thank you for being a part of this journey and we look forward to sharing with you what's to come!
